Lenten Services are at 12:00 pm (noon) and last 30 minutes followed by Lunch & Fellowship. A Free-will offering will be collected at the end of the service as people leave the Sanctuary. The offering is designated for and split between the Crisis Food Center and Oasis for Battered Women. The Lenten Luncheons cost $5.00 to help cover the cost for the church providing the meal. Homemade Soups & Desserts are delicious, Sandwiches & Coffee/Teas are also provided.

Over 55 Ministry is open to all area churches, if you haven't been on one of their outings you don't know what you are missing. To receive the Over 55 newsletter, please send $5.00 for a year's subscription (cost for printing and mailing) to Marj Bryant at Elm Street Presbyterian Church 101 West Elm Street, Alton, IL 62002. The expiration date of your subscription is on the mailing label. or seeing Marj Bryant
We will be picked up in the upper parking lot by Macy's at Alton Square Mall. This is the southwest corner across the road from Associated Bank. Be sure to lock your car and remove all valuables from view. The bus will pick us up here for all future trips.

December 2,2018, Sunday "The Nutcracker" Moscow Ballet at the Fox. Afterwards a trip to Our Lady of the Snows for a buffet dinner and a drive through the beautiful "Way of Light." Depart at I :45 pm home by 9:00 pm with possibly a bus drive through Rock Springs Park to see our local light display. Inclusive price per person is $80.00 for ballet, dinner and bus. Only 30 tickets. Please make your reservations as soon as possible for those you are interested in so we can order the correct amount of tickets and have enough to go so we don't have to cancel. Thanks the Committee. You can pay one month before the outing.
