Pastor's Corner

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

I wanted to thank those of you who bestowed upon me and my family wonderful gifts this holiday season. It touches my heart that so many of you would think so much of us to carry out such generous acts. I am especially humbled by two gifts I received. Two different young girls presented me with special gifts (a handmade "thank you " card and angel and Jesus figurines). It is not that I am tickled to get bunches and bunches of gifts. I am astounded and humbled by the fact that these girls took the time and thought to give from their hearts. The reason why this moves me so much is that these young ladies helped me realize anew how special it is that people invite me into their lives. It amazes me (and catches me off guard) to find myself amidst people's journeys. I take these moments and hold them tenderly in my hands because they are so precious.

It is no small thing that you all have entrusted me with the most difficult, tender, joyful, scary moments in your lives. I understand and appreciate the uniqueness of our relationship. Thank you for the blessings you continue to give me. Thank you for sharing your lives with me. Know that I hold you all close to my heart.

May this new year be a year full of love, laughter, and joy and may we share this all together.

Yours in Christ,

Rev. Nicole Richardson
