Sunday August 9 - Union Avenue Opera to see "The Merry Widow" The complicated plot deals with the attempts of the Baron to obtain the Merry Widow's fortune for his improvised country by getting his young compatriot to marry her. We will be the first group ever to attend and our seats will be the best in the house! Cost $50.00 for bus and opera. Reservation deadline July 31. Leave CAPC at 1 :45 pm.
Wednesday, September 16 - Donald Danforth Plant Science Center The Center's mission is to feed the hungry, improve human health, preserve and renew the environment and enhance the St. Louis region as a world center for plant science. Afterwards we will go to Pujol's Restaurant for lunch.
Friday, October 16 - Annual visit to the St. Louis Symphony Coffee Concert with lunch at Favazza's on the Hill afterward.
Wednesday, November 11 - St. Louis Ragtimers Show for $50.00 you get breakfast, a show and a 3-course meal at Vin de Set. Leave CAPC at 8:15 am. When you send in reservations circle your choice of soup or salad an entree on the enclosed menu. Dessert will be served family style.
